
Shaykh Abu Tahir Muhammad Naqshband

Shaykh-e-Tariqat-Wal-Shariaht Sahibzada Abu Tahir Muhammad
Naqshband (R.A) was born in the
state of Jamu & Kashmir on 1928. His
father, Shaykh Al Mashaikh Khwaja
Muhammad Akbar Ali (R.A) saw a dream
that the sun rises from his home. At
the following morning, Sahibzada Abu
Tahir Muhammad Naqshband came into
this World.
He was renowned for Abu-Tahir with
the name of his elder son. After
early education he went to village
45/5 L District Sahiwal, where he
studied sarf, nahw, fiqh, usul al
fiqh, mantaq, m’aqool, tafseer and
many other subjects. Among his
teachers were Allama Shaykh Al
hadith Mawlana Ghulam Rasool Ridvi,
Allama Abu Dawud Muhammad Sadiq (R.A).
His Hadith teacher was
Muhadithi-e-Azam Pakistan, Hazrat
Mawlana Sardar Ahmad Qadri (R.A).
After
the completion of his traditional
Islamic studies (1945) the
Honourable Shaykh became the
Spiritual Disciple of Hazrat Khawaja
Qadi Muhammad Sadiq Bakri Siddiqi Rahimahullah, Azad Kashmir,
Pakistan.
In
1957, Sahibzada Muhammad Naqshband (R.A.),
founded the famous, Jaamia
Naqshbandiyah Ridviyah, Pakpattan,
Pakistan. He also established many
educational institutes at the
various areas of Pakistan and
oversease. He also established a
beautiful (70 bed) hospital in the
district of Pakpattan. He was a
great teacher, preacher, spiritual
leader and thinker.
Shaykh Abu Tahir Muhammad Naqshband
(R.A.) passed away on 10th April
2004, (Inna lillahi was inna ilayhi
rajioon). His sons are carrying on
his mission very successfully.
