Sahibzada Abu Tahir Muhammad Naqshband Rahimahullah with JNR Students

Our Mission:

Allah, the Most Knid, the Ever Merciful stated in Surah Al-Imran=

“And there should be a group amongst you, who invite to goodness and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency such as they who are successful”

We aim to revive the traditional system of Islamic education in Pakistan and produce students who are highly educated both in Islamic & various disciplines (Arts, computer science, philosophy, mathematics, etc) that will equip them to become the bright torch-bearers of the future Muslim Ummah.

Jamiyah Naqshbandiyah Ridviyah, (JNR) Pakpattan, Pakistan is an educational institute established for the study of traditional Islamic Sciences in 1957.

It was established by his eminence, Shaikh Al Mash’ekh Sahibzada Abu Tahir Muhammad Naqshband (R.A) and directed by Shaykh Al Aulia Khwaja Muhammad Akbar Ali (R.A). The foundation was laid down by a great scholar of Islam Muhadis Azam Pakistan Hazrat Maulana Sardar Muhammad (R.A.).

The administrators and teachers of Jaamia Naqshbandiyah Ridviyah are dedicated to training their students in achieving the following main goals:

  • The acquisition of authentic Islamic knowledge (shari`ah) as established by the scholars of ahl as-sunna wa al-jama`ah: this knowledge, which is received through an unbroken chain of transmission from the Prophet Muhammad , is to be attained, realized, and implemented in the student's life.

  • The purification of the soul and the refinement of character by learning and following prophetic examples of moral conduct and noble character.
  • The spreading of the message brought by the Prophet Muhammad   and spreading the call to Islam using a methodology based on mercy, truthfulness, sincerity, high opinions of others, and a commitment to act upon one's faith.

Therefore, the essential purpose of JNR, as indicated by these goals, is the attainment of beneficial knowledge by learning from the people who possess it, acting upon this knowledge in an exemplary way, and calling to Allah with true insight and discernment.
